Ginny Lippincott
Welcome to Silverfox Wood studio, my name is Ginny Lippincott, and on these pages you will find a eclectic assortment of handcrafted gifts in wood as well as resins, and some beautiful pieces of wood art for the home. All the work shown on my site has been created by my hand in my wood studio, here in Tallahassee, Florida.
Short Bio:
I began working with wood quite by accident, in 1989 I worked partime after becoming a mom, cleaning aquariums for a very nice couple who also made some wooden aquarium stands, after helping them make one I was hooked. I began buying tools, including a lathe and one thing led to another, I then learned some cabinet making skills at a high end cabinet shop for 3 years. In 1995 I decided to strike out on my own as a fulltime studio woodturner selling my artwork at juried Art shows. I did this for 6 years before moving from Miami to Tallahassee. After many years of clearing land, building a home and workshop, I am now settled enough to pursue my woodworking again. I also hold a fulltime job.
